Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and managed by the State Child Nutrition Program, the CACFP provides reimbursement to licensed Family Day Care Homes for serving nutritious meals which meet USDA guidelines. The program plays a vital role in improving the children's health and the quality of their care. In addition, the financial assistance of the program to the provider makes child care more affordable for low-income families. Child care providers also receive training in healthy meal preparation and management, as well as training on Federal and State program regulations.
UCAP is serving providers in Alfalfa, Creek, Garfield, Grant, Kay, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, Major, Noble, Oklahoma, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Tulsa, and Washington counties.
